A Bit About Me

Welcome, I’m Joe Lapinski and founder of J. Lapinski Information Management Services.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Anthropology from Bridgewater State College, and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management from Simmons University.

After 3 years as a professional Librarian and Archivist at New York Public Library, I took on more complex & technical roles and eventually served as Director of Archives & Records Management at Trinity Wall Street — a culturally & historically significant church in Lower Manhattan with a multi-billion dollar real estate and investment portfolio.

It was at Trinity, that I was able to continue exploring my love for history and story-telling, while also employing my technology and project management expertise to help identify and implement a variety of Information Management solutions at a fast paced global institution.

Those skills and experiences are just a part of what I bring to the table when working to solve your Information Management needs.

Being better stewards of our digital assets and digital content is something we can all improve at.

Let me help you take that first step.
